SURVEY
We want to know what you think! Please submit your response to the following question. Results will be posted, and survey questions will be changed frequently.
When you go to the Destination Dillon page under Events on this website, why is it pink? - ANSWER NOW - Those who participated in the previous survey question - Do you prefer the WCB Competition format with all 2-person classes or with an individual class? We welcome your reasons as well! - gave lots of feedback. Here's what you think: keep it mixed up. Two man classes are great for comradery but you still have to be able to build some shoes by yourself; I think there should be a speed forging class to warm up. And I like the one individual class. Practicing for Calgary takes skill in running a fire on your own. I have found it tough after having a striker always running my fire. So Yes I would like to see an individual, but still like two man as well. we should have both worlds, after all we are the World Championship Blacksmiths!!!; I think an individual class every now and then is ok, but I also like working with someone too; I do like the individual class. It makes it a lot easier to get a practice session in by yourself instead of running around trying to find a striker; Depends on what shoe you're making and what size stock you're using; no, I do better in the individual; 2 man classes I think they are a lost part of our trade and are very valuable; I would like to bring back the individual class. Thank you for your input!
